ABOUT THIS TOUR
We'll be based out of Tuscon, Arizona chasing the annual monsoon storms. Here we'll experience amazing lightning shows, incredible dust storms, intense cloud structure and much more jaw dropping photogenic scenes. Southeastern Arizona will be our target area on this tour.
TOUR INTENSITY LEVEL
We consider this tour to be mildly intense, meaning that we may have up to an hour or more at each location capturing scenes. We'll see towering thunderheads, rain curtains, lightning, microbursts, and possibly dust storms. Here we will have opportunities to set up time lapse and capture storms building. These monsoon storms tend to move around 5-10 mph yet, can always move faster. We'll be at a safe distance from the storm and will be able to safely stand outside and around the vehicle. We'll have to move onward very little to stay with the storm in order to keep the storms in a photogenic view.
