ABOUT THE TOUR
The month of May is prime time for twisters and epic storm structure in Tornado Alley. You'll witness the true raw power of mother nature on this tour. Everything from hail to monstrous shelf clouds to epic lightning and maybe even a tornado or two. We'll base out of OKC, OK and possibly travel as far south as Texas.
TOUR INTENSITY LEVEL
We consider this tour to be considerably intense, meaning that we may only have up to a couple minutes at each location capturing scenes. We'll see shelf clouds, supercell structure, lightning, and possibly tornadoes. Here we will have opportunities to capture a quick photo or two and roll video footage. These supercell storms tend to move around 30-40 mph, yet can always move faster. We'll be at a safe distance from the storm but may have to shoot from the vehicle at times. We'll have to move onward quite often to either keep up or stay ahead of the storm in order to keep the storms in a photogenic view.
